Taipei Book Haul

I went to Taipei with my family during the Christmas Holiday and bought these:

It took me quite some time to find a bookstore that sells English books. (I guess English books are not so popular in Taiwan haha) They were wrapped with a plastic bag, unlike those in Hong Kong, so they are in perfect condition 😀

They are gorgeous and I’m looking forward to reading them!

The USA Book Haul

I’m back from the US study tour! It was an once-in-a-lifetime experience and I really enjoyed it. We got to go to the bookstore, and of course I bought some books:

If I Stay by Gayle Forman

The Giver by Lois Lowry

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo

Hollow City by Ransom Riggs

I got Ruin and Rising in hardback

It is SO beautiful

Now that I have the complete Grisha Trilogy (I have Shadow and Bone on my kindle), I can marathon it! Excited!

Hollow city is also in hardback and I love the colour of it. I loved Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and I’m looking forward to reading this book.

Book Haul: Hong Kong Book Fair 2014

I have plenty of books to show you guys as I came across some pretty amazing deals on amazon, AND ALSO, the annual Hong Kong Book Fair is HERE!

First off, I bought two books from the monthly deals on Amazon (kindle edition). They are $1.99 USD each and I believe the sale hasn’t end yet, so go check them out! (click on the covers)

Both of them have been on my tbr list for a very long time so I was pretty excited to purchase them 😀

I bought a total of 8 books from the book fair:

I found them in the sale section so they were pretty cheap. Ordinary Heroes and Shibumi are war stories and the others are about politics (woah).

Reboot and Rebel by Amy Tintera

I FINALLY FOUND THEM AHH (fangirl moment). The covers are amazing! The synopsis sounds really good and I can’t wait to read them.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (The Lunar Chronicles, #2)

The breathtaking cover asdfghjkl. Unfortunately, I cannot find Cress. I’d love to marathon them even though I’ve already read Cinder.

So that’s it my first ever book haul! Hope you guys enjoy it! And before you go, I’ll be participating in the #sunathon hosted by Emma over at   Follow me on twitter for updates on the readathon!
